Project Overview

Works involved the full refurbishment of seven properties.

  • Isolated the electrical and water services and upgrading to current standards
  • Installed the new smoke alarm systems
  • Replaced the kitchens and bathrooms
  • Restored the roofs
  • Painted inside and out
  • Replaced the boundary fences
  • Construction of retaining walls

      Challenges

      • Due to age of properties, there was a high likelihood of asbestos building products
      • Unknown hidden termite damage

      Successes

      • Indigenous apprentice employed on this project
      • Project completed before target completion date and under budget
      • No defects
      • No LTIs
