Project Overview

Construction of the following:

• Bio retention basins
• Sediment basins
• Bulk earthworks
• Road pavements
• Sub soil drainage
• Stormwater
• Landscape works

Challenges

• Constructed multiple bio retention, sediment basins and stormwater drainage simultaneously that were 100% active upstream for the duration of the project
• Engagement to the project with the client, modelled as a joint venture while maintaining a commercial/contract chain of authority
• Liaison with client and local council regarding environmental management, permissions for tree clearing and re-vegetation works in a Nature Reserve Zone and Local Council Easement

Successes

• No lost time injuries
• Achieved EMP hydraulic constraints during construction in an active stormwater system.
• Achieved all detailed elements of a complex design in consultation with designers and all stakeholders throughout the project.
• Worked with the client in a JV arrangement 
• Delivered the project to the client’s expectation
