Project Overview

Designed and constructed a new facility in an existing compound directly adjacent to Building 504.

  • Vehicle shelters and associated works for 27 vehicles stores building
  • Container tie downs, visual screens, and fencing
  • Services’ connections, including fire services, power and lighting


  • Site access and security
  • Contaminated soil containing asbestos material
  • Working at heights – cladding installation
  • Traffic management – multiple mobile plant working in a confined area
  • Structural steel erection – risk management
  • Establishing and managing concrete wash out bays during wet season for up to 20 concrete truck deliveries per day


  • This was a milestone for our company as it was our first project with the Department of Defence and also our first D&C project
  • Recycled 400 tons of concrete which was reused to construct the foundations for the Stokes Hill Wharf upgrade – Stage 2
  • Fully complied with the Defence Regional Asbestos Management Plan
