In the course of a recent project on Katherine Hospital, we are donating all the crating from the switchboard packing to the local Katherine High School. The wood is good clean pine, so can be used for upcoming school projects and offers the children the opportunity to learn about re-purposing and how it is a smart sustainability choice.
This is an effective way to contribute to environmental longevity, keep extra waste out of the landfill and to turn it into something really useful for the community.
