2021 Kennelly Constructions Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Achievement Award

It gives us great pleasure to announce the winner of the Kennelly Constructions Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Achievement Award, as well as the 2021 Queensland Young Achiever of the Year: Kyle Ryan!

This award recognises the passionate and dedicated young Indigenous people, who are strong role models and are making a real difference.

Kyle Ryan’s work with the Inala Wangarra Board supporting local Indigenous people and events to promote cultural practices and providing support for juvenile offenders has done a great deal of good for our community. Kyle is also an ambassador at the Queensland Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Foundation and part of the ATSI Studies Unit at the University of Queensland and Queensland Australian Indigenous Health Council’s Indigenous Youth Health Committee.

Congratulations, Kyle!

A round of applause to all our fantastic finalists – we are proud of your individual achievements and the impact that you are having on not only Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, but also upon our broader community.
