Kennelly Constructions Secures Tallisha Harden as Brand Ambassador
Kennelly Constructions is proud to announce Tallisha Harden as our first-ever brand ambassador. Tallisha is a proud Torres Strait Islander woman who has not only represented Australia at the highest level across multiple sports, but has also forged a successful career as a Speech Pathologist. Tallisha is passionate about championing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and families through her sporting endeavours, her role as a Speech Pathologist and now as an ambassador with Kennelly Constructions.
“I’m really excited for this opportunity and the ongoing partnership with Kennelly Constructions,” Tallisha commented.
“I’ve been fortunate enough to spend a lot of time with Shane and Adam Kennelly over the last few months and have seen how creating opportunities and empowering Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and families is central to what they do. Kennelly Constructions has a long history of providing services that benefit and support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, and I’m looking forward to seeing how our partnership can make even more positive changes in the community.
“As a female sportswoman, I’m very grateful for the opportunity to work with an Aboriginal-owned organisation and hope that my journey can inspire the next wave of young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander athletes to back themselves on and off-field,” she said.
Tallisha has recently finished a successful Origin campaign with the Queensland Maroons team, who defeated the New South Wales Blues on 25 June at Sunshine Coast Stadium. She will again be competing in the upcoming National Rugby League Women’s competition commencing in August 2021, after previously representing the Brisbane Broncos in 2018 and 2020, and the Sydney Roosters in 2019.
